Independent Press Awards

Back to Newark for a hat-trick!

This past Saturday, April 25th, I was invited to attend the Independent Press Awards to celebrate my spicy novel, A Widow's Wish, winning Best Erotica! It was such a beautiful night and it felt incredible to cheer this achievement. Over the years, writing spicy romance has been difficult, especially because the genre is polarizing. For some, it is all they read, but others despise it and are not shy about letting you know. So to not only have the courage to write, but to win at an international level, reminds me to keep doing what I love and to have fun!
